Cat Care Clinic Celebrates 25 Years of Caring

Do you remember the year 1987? It was a great year—Walk Like An Egyptian by the Bangles was the number 1 hit on Casey Kasem’s American Top 40, the movie, The Last Emperor won an Academy Award for Best Picture, Star Trek: The Next Generation makes it TV debut, and Cat Care Clinic opened its doors to provide expert care for cats and the people who love them!

There have been many changes in the last 25 years (go ahead, “Google it”). However, one thing remains the same. That is our commitment of excellence to you and your beloved cats! We celebrate the bond you share with your feline friends, and by working together with you, will help ensure your kitties have the best quality and length of life possible.

We are so grateful to have met so many wonderful people over the last 25 years, and we extend our heartfelt “Thank You” for trusting us to care for your special friends. Without you, our success would not be possible. We are proud to have served you and this community for so many years!

Now that our silver anniversary is upon us, we are so excited to celebrate this milestone by giving more of our support back to the community! Over the next 12 months, Cat Care Clinic will donate its resources to help our “little corner of the world” become a better place for cats and their people. Here is a “sneak peak” at a few of our plans:
• Dr. Rodan will be doing 4 lectures for Dane County Humane Society
• Our own Stephanie Sherlund (voted Madison’s top female comedian) will be hosting a comedy club night, with a portion of ticket sales donated to Dane County Humane Society- Check out Stand-Up for Cats at High Noon Saloon on September 15th at 2pm
• Free diabetes screening day for cats
• Donation of dental services to cats at Dane County Humane Society
• And much more!
Stay tuned for updates on our efforts, scheduled events, and regular progress reports!

As we welcome in another new year, we again want to thank all of you for your support. Maybe you don’t remember much about 1987, but with your help, 2012 will be unforgettable!

Best wishes for health and happiness!

Cat Care Clinic making Cats Desireable for Adoption

In celebrating our 25 years in the community we are giving back to those cats in need.  Some of those cats are in desperate need of Dental care.  We are donating Dental services to cats at the  Dane County Humane society (DCHS).   Our first patient we had was Dusty.

Dusty spent a day with us recently to have a professional dental treatment. Unfortunately, his bad breath meant he had quite a bit of dental disease that was causing him to have pain and an infection. Dr. Miller performed oral surgery to remove 6 teeth and address his infection. Our certified technicians were there every step of the way to make sure he did well during and after the procedure. Back at DCHS, the wonderful staff and volunteers made sure that he got lots of TLC along with his medication for pain relief and treatment of the infection.
We are so happy to have donated our time and resources to DCHS in helping Dusty have a healthier smile! He is now feeling much better and he found his forever home this past weekend!! Wonderful news!!

Butter-Fly came spent a day with uson August 8th to also have a professional dental treatment.  Unfortunately, her bad breath was a sign that she had some pretty severe detnal disease as well. We had to do crown amputations on 5 teeth.  She recovered great and will hopefully be ready for adoption in the next week or two.  She is a wonderful, sweet and playful petite girl who would brighten anyone's day! We hope you check her out at Dane County Humane Society!! Again, we are so glad we could donate our time and resources to helping  a cat be free of pain from dental disease and hopefully find a forever home sooner than later!!

Cats Available for Adoption at Cat Care Clinic
Another way we celebrating our 25th Anniversary of giving back to the community is by making it our goal to have 25 cats adopted through Cat Care Clinic and Dane County Friends of Ferals. We will be boarding cats here throughout the year to help them get some more exposure and give them a happy place to stay before they find their forever home. Come and visit them anytime to give them some love and attention or to fill out an adoption form.

So far we have adopted out our first cat Sushi (now Mickey) and he adores his new home.  We have also adopted out Waffle, Smokey, Socks and Midnight too!  We will be having new cats come in each time we have ones adopted, so check out our adoption page to see who needs to find their home!!
